Ideas Bank

We value your unique insight into our products and services and often receive ideas and feedback from our community in a variety of ways. To streamline this process, we’ve created an idea bank where you can post product suggestions, vote for those most important to you, and add comments to existing ideas.

Allow offline donations to be applied to a fundraiser's page, not campaign

Please allow offline donations to be applied to a fundraiser's page, so that the fundraiser gets credit for the donations that they solicited.

Jamie - an idea (JGNG - I - 12) about "item-izing" offline donations was just merged with this idea and I think that's a mistake. I believe the other idea was asking for offline donations to be added individually and show up with donor name and message on the "Supporters" column on the right side of fundraising page. Right now, offline donations may only be totaled up in one lump sum. Please keep the idea of separating and displaying offline donations separate from this idea.

    Jamie,

Will we be allowed to add to our fundraiser's pages and not just through them? This would have been good for us as end of year last year.

The charity needs to be able to make these changes as well. MOST of our offline donations come directly to us via checks in the mail.

We would like the ability to make this change on the charity side. We often have donors who prefer to write a check and those get sent directly to our office with a note to credit a particular fundraiser.

    Hi there,

This is a feature that already exists. Any fundraiser has the ability to update their fundraising page with an offline donation. The totaliser on the page will update as a result of the new values they enter in real time.

To date, we've offered control of this to the fundraiser as it supports them in instances where someone gives them cash in hand (on the night of an event, casually meeting etc). This has proved popular to date.
