Agreed. This should be a feature the administrator can customize to include or not.

Agreed! This extra donation goes to JustGiving / Blackbaud, not to our organization. We believe this creates confusion with the donors, so that they are not giving where they intend. Should have the option to remove this, just as on the Blackbaud online donation forms.

I'm asking for the same thing - the ability to remove the 5% donor covers fees or provide an opt-in selection instead of an opt-out. As the previous comment mentions, our nonprofit believes it is poor form to request extra money to cover organizational costs. I'm not sure this ideas bank is following up.

Just to confirm, are you referring to the 5% donor covers fees option during the check out process? Would you prefer this be removed all together or an option for each organizations to enable based on org-specific preferences?

Agree! Our University believes it to be very poor form to request extra money for fees.
