Sorry to hear that that was not suggested. In short I'd recommend the following:

1. Create your campaign

2. On the edit story section, you'll see a rich text editor that allows you to add hyperlinks

3. Where you want to add a download link, ensure that the hyperlink takes the user to a URL that instigates the download. If you use something like Dropbox or Google Docs to host the file you want people to download you should be able to retrieve the necessary link to embed/paste.

4. Click save

5. Publish campaign

The Plain Download Attribute

The simplest way to use the Download Attribute is to just include it in its most basic form in your anchor tags. You don't need to include an additional file name or any supporting information. The result looks like this:

Hi there and thanks for the suggestion. In a way this is already possible if you add an HTML link to your campaign description. Behind that link could be the downloadable file/document you want the supporter to get.
