Have a COMPLETE INTEGRATION with Raiser's Edge

  1. I dislike when Blackbaud trots out a new product (Just Giving) that is not completely integrated with Raiser's Edge and still has issues, like not being able to find out if a donor is already in RE without creating a duplicate in the system, like how Online Express works.

  2. Being able to print out a Batch Commit Report, which right now does not exist.

  3. Having the choice to keep or remove the box to cover the fees for your organization on the donation page.

  4. BETTER reports in Just Giving

  5. Carrying over the credit card name, type of card and authorization code into RE.

  6. Up to date notifications of donations made thru Just Giving.

Right now I feel that Just Giving is an incomplete product that does not work well or work like it should. This is just another problem with Blackbaud putting out too many products that are incomplete, don't work well or still have bugs, like RENXT.

    Note to Chris: Hi Chris! As the product manager for RE NXT Integration with Just Giving, as you have yet to be able to seamlessly add the gift to RE, or even bother to notify users that a gift has been made through Just Giving, perhaps consider a new line of work, as you seem to be missing the finer points of integration and customer service. I do not know why the decision was made to fade out the previous peer to peer service when you were so unprepared to integrate the current one, but it is one of many bad marks against the direction Blackbaud has taken in recent years.

    I would add that the JustGiving information needs to also appear in Database View - not just NXT!

    I am the product manager for the RENXT integration. As Jamie mentioned, JustGiving is a platform that has been around for a long time however, the integration with RENXT is new.

    We are constantly looking for feedback to the integration and improvements are being developed.

    Hi there and thanks for the feedback, I've forwarded this to our Product Manager who is working on the very JustGiving-RE NXT integration you talk of. Just as context JustGiving is not a new platform. We've been around for 20 years and were recently acquired by Blackbaud, so up and until that point the JustGiving site was built in a way that did not have RE NXT in mind. That may go some way to explaining the lack of integration that is frustrating you. I do hope though that the roadmap out to the remainder of this year and beyond excites you.
