Give Charities the Ability to Move Donations Between Fundraising Pages

If donors accidentally do a direct donation to our charity, there is currently no way to assign this donation back to our campaign or their fundraising pages. The ability to update this would make it possible to better record donor activity and appropriately recognize our fundraisers to their efforts.

    Yes! Yes! I just posted this idea as well. But PLEASE this would make such a difference in managing the errors of so many people.

    I completely agree! there should be an ability to move a gift from the mail event page. We have donors that give, then create a page later! The request is always the same "could you move my donation to my fundraising page"..sorry we can't..that's our solution?! Administrators should be able to move gifts.

    I manage an incredibly diverse fundraising event with 71 different teams. Mistakes are made. I need to have the ability with permission of the donor and fundraisers to be able to re-assign a donation to keep my fundraisers happy or they will NOT participate. One of the fundraisers needs help re-assigning a donation. THIS is critical as it is a large donation and this is a competition.

    Please make this adjustment to your software a top priority.

    Also, when there are accidental duplicate fundraiser pages created we're not able to move donations to one page and disable the other. This along with the reasons already stipulated is why we need the ability to move gifts. Let's keep our donors happy so they will continue to contribute.

    Please make this change! It is very difficult to keep our fundraisers happy when their peers don't enter the donation on the correct page and we can't correct it!
