Distinguish between Gift Aid and other payments in the bank description

When we receive Just Giving payments through the bank the current description is 'JUSTGIVING' followed by the name of our charity. These payments are either money from donations or Gift Aid. It would be very helpful if the bank description just included the letters GA to indicate the difference between the two types.

    Thank you for the suggestion, I agree that being able to distinguish between Gift Aid, charity donations, and crowdfunding donations on the bank statement would be very helpful for recipients.

    At present, this isn’t possible due to a limitation with the payment partner used by JustGiving. Their system applies a uniform narrative to all disbursements, which prevents us from customizing the description based on the payment type.

    That said, this is a valuable idea, and I’ll ensure it’s considered if there are changes to our disbursement process in the future.
