We value your unique insight into our products and services and often receive ideas and feedback from our community in a variety of ways. To streamline this process, we’ve created an idea bank where you can post product suggestions, vote for those most important to you, and add comments to existing ideas.
This is our third year having this issue, so I finally contacted help to find out what we could do.
When people search JustGiving for our current campaign, our campaigns from LAST YEAR show up on top. WHY?? Grandma gets easily confused and there goes the donation. This year we put "2023" in the name so that we wouldn't have this problem, and unless one searches the exact name of the campaign -- last years campaign comes up first.
Maybe what needs to happen is that when we set our campaign page donations time limit on the month of the campaign plus a few extra days, anyone who makes a fundraiser page will also have that same time limit by default.
As it currently is, JustGiving automatically sets their fundraiser pages to about a year from now and in order to change it they have to go into the "guts" of the program to figure out how to change that date. 98% of the people who create pages just assume that their page will agree with the main page of the campaign.
This is one of those things that makes one scratch their head and say, "Did they really not think of this? Do I actually have to put this suggestion in the idea bank and hope that out of the 35 pages of ideas enough people will see mine and agree and move it up the list?!"
This feature - search field on campaign admin page is now live.
Thank you for your feedback Stanley.
We've removed expired campaign from search results to address this at the end of September.
Can you please advise if you have encounter the same issue since? We want to ensure fundraisers are assigned to the relevant campaigns.
