In the donation flow we currently present the amount you are choosing to donate - which you can change by clicking in the box - and then in the final confirmation screen we present to you all the details of your donation (amount, payment option, address etc). At that point there is also an edit link should you wish to change or edit the amount again. I hope that addresses your concern?
