We value your unique insight into our products and services and often receive ideas and feedback from our community in a variety of ways. To streamline this process, we’ve created an idea bank where you can post product suggestions, vote for those most important to you, and add comments to existing ideas.
The thank you message automatically fills in with the profile name that was used to set up the account, and does not update if the profile name is later edited.
Additionally, the default thank you message says "means so much to me", but we have many groups fundraising for us.
For example, if an individual sets up a page on behalf of a company, they may set up the account under their name, but later change the profile name to the company name. However, the thank you message will still have the individual's name - it will not automatically update with the company's name.
This is an issue because many of our fundraisers do not have the time, nor do they know, to change the name in the thank you message. So donations to a company's page receive email receipts with a thank you message signed off with the individual's name, instead of the company's name.
I suggest changing the default message to be less focused on individuals (i.e. revise the language "means so much to me") and to either automatically change the name when the profile name is changed, or remove that section of the thank you message as well.
