I just set up JustGiving and was rolling along, until I found the monthly donation option in the Donate Box was ... missing. I know I had seen it in the early stages.
I'm told that because I set up BBMS for payment processing, I lost the ability to set up monthly donations. I'd need to go back to the default, using the Donor Advised Fund. That means I'd receive disbursements monthly instead of weekly. That's a big reason I wanted to switch from a PayPal workflow.
There was no mention of this in your support article: https://justgiving-charity-support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204663487-Adding-Donate-Box-to-your-website I saw another support article with an asterisk that was never explained, so it looks like the documentation about this needs clarity and a cleanup.
It seems crazy that I'm adding a Blackbaud service for a better, faster connection and lose functionality. I'm told I won't lose the eTapestry integration by switching to the Donor Advised Fund, thank goodness, but I'd like confirmation of that.
Perhaps Blackbaud could allow use of a third-party processor while we're set up with the Donor Advised Fund as a workaround until you get this sorted to allow monthly donations with BBMS. It's a big deal.
