Well done! You managed to spot one of our variant tests that we are currently running across the website. We have a team dedicated to optimising the performance of the fundraising page and in doing so they test all manner of variations from copy changes to the "donate" button, to designs, button sizes, calls to action and other interesting tweaks. This is all with the aim of increasing the performance of the page - whether it's driving more people to click on donate or a greater percentage of visitors to share the page. This is in part - what we do as a consumer website - we test for the best performance so that we can drive more donations and ultimately more value to you as a non profit organisation.
It could well be that "Back fundraiser" performs poorly - it may out do "donate" - but we won't know this until we test it thoroughly. So I hope you'll understand why we'll continue as is for the short period of time that this test runs.
