Hi there and thanks for the feedback. We are looking at internationalisation of date formats across the site. You'll see in Charity Reporting we allow organisations to designate what format they want the date being displayed in. Being a truly international site - that encourages donors from around the world to view and donate to any page for any organisation it's quite the challenge to find the date format that works for all. But we are investigating it.
