Hi Bonnie, it is included in the RENXT gift amount. The actual processing and platform fees are not picked up by the Blackbaud RENXT integration at this time, only when the donor choses to increases their donation to help the organisation to cover the fees. Please reach out to your customer success manager for more information (you can let them know I responded to you).

In the interest of clarity for the community - at this time, this is applicable to US organisations using the Blackbaud RENXT integration for Blackbaud Peer-to-peer Fundraising, powered by JustGiving and Blackbaud Merchant Services.

Thank you Chris. Is it included as part of the actual donation amount or included as a separate field in the batch because we need the number for the fee but do not typically include the fee as part of their donation. We might have the opposite problem that everyone here mentioned.

The RENXT integration currently pulls in the amount paid by the donor including the donation boost amount. Therefore, if the donor gave $100 and boosted this with an extra 5% to cover the fees, RENXT would show $105.

Has this been updated since 9/20? Just starting the NXY/Just Giving implementation. This thread scares me.

Yes, this is absolutely critical. We need to be able to credit the donor for the full amount they actually gave.

We just had our first campaign to go along with our first virtual event and had a lot of success. Our team loved the features of JustGiving and have plans to use it for several upcoming events. One of the main reasons we went with JustGiving is the integration with NXT but this is almost a fatal flaw for us. The amount of time that it takes to research each gift to see if the donor covered the processing fees is beginning to negate the ease that integration brings, especially coupled with checking for a duplicate records and fixing records that are created by JustGiving. We have to manually look up each donation and then fix the amount in the RENXT batch.

Yes! Please include the donor consented paid fees into the RE NXT Batches synchronized from JustGiving. This is critical so we can reconcile with our finance department and receipt our donors accurate gift statements. Thanks.

PLEASE make this a high priority! It took our Accounting department ONE FULL DAY to reconcile credit card donations because BBMS didn't match what was automatically synced to Raiser's Edge in Batches. Without this resolution it is highly unlikely that we will use JustGiving for any future fundraising campaigns.
